The Double Designer Habitat Ice Cream Maker gives you delicious tasting homemade ice cream in 20-40 minutes. It is fantastic for making ice cream, as well as making healthier treats like fat free frozen yoghurt and sorbets.
With an addition like this in your kitchen, you can open up a whole new world of flavours with the incredible amount of creativity and fun you can have making ice cream.
It comes with a double insulated freezer bowl to be placed in the freezer 8 hours before use. The easy clean Freezer bowl uses freezing fluid keeping the bowl ice cold for making ice cream, whilst the electronic paddle keeps the mixture moving - the key to smooth and delicious ice cream!
The motorised paddle has an extra-large ingredient funnel for whatever you wish to use to make your ice cream.

design flaw

Thought this icecream maker would be just the ticket. It has two completely separate machines so you can make two flavours at the same time. Also, the slightly smaller bowls would fit better in my freezer.Unfortunately, both the paddles broke the first time I used them. The spindles of the paddles are made of plastic, and aren't man enough for the job. As the icecream thickened, they couldn't stand the extra pressure, and both broke at the same point. Obviously a design flaw.Such a shame. With a little bit of metal for the spindle they would have lasted for years. I suppose that's what you can expect from a cheap import.I have sent the machine back for a refund, and will be chosing a more reputable make in the hope that they use metal spindles.

this was much better than i expected it to be and the fact you can use the item separately or two at a time is great.

Both drive pins broke after only two or three uses.Contacted designer habitat to request spares but have had absolutely no contact back from them.Useless.
